May 2017; Antony Gormley & Croatia

Earlier this month, whilst running away from the rain, I bumped into an Antony Gormley sculpture.  Little did I know, he had been hiding in London all this time at 'The Grapes' pub. Gromley's work is primarily life size iron casts of his own body I have always found them thought provoking so if you get the chance go and see him.

This May I also had a cheeky little holiday with my friend Laura. We've been friends for over 12 years now but never been on holiday together so off we skipped to Croatia. Croatia has never been on my 'to do' list, it was Laura's suggestion and a good one! Every corner we turned and island we visited was like a postcard; the water was crystal clear and the sun golden yellow. We did three nights in Dubrovic, one in Mljet, one in Spilt and two in Skadin were we visited the National Park of Krka.

I would say my favourite was Mljet, see images below. MIjet is a National Park,, made up of lakes and greenery; it is incredibly peaceful and idilic.

The MOORE TO LIFE Project: Work wise I have redesigned the shape and cast the new shapes. Fingers crossed next month I will hopefully have a final one complete (about time).
